Andrea Kay Caid "Yaya", 60, died peacefully surrounded by family in her home in Tucson, AZ on Saturday, May 14th after a 10 month battle with cancer.

Andrea, formally of Moorhead, MN, was born in Wakefield, NE and was the youngest of 5, with 4 older brothers. Growing up in Emerson, NE Andrea was wonderfully talented in school as well as outside activities including 4H and track. She attended college at Wayne State in Nebraska where once graduated moved to Tucson, AZ where she met her husband, Joseph Caid of 36 years. Over...

Andrea Kay Caid "Yaya", 60, died peacefully surrounded by family in her home in Tucson, AZ on Saturday, May 14th after a 10 month battle with cancer.

Andrea, formally of Moorhead, MN, was born in Wakefield, NE and was the youngest of 5, with 4 older brothers. Growing up in Emerson, NE Andrea was wonderfully talented in school as well as outside activities including 4H and track. She attended college at Wayne State in Nebraska where once graduated moved to Tucson, AZ where she met her husband, Joseph Caid of 36 years. Over the next 5 years, Andrea and Joseph had two daughters and moved back to the Midwest where they made their life in Moorhead, MN.

For the last 28 years, Andrea had enjoyed her career at US Bank in Fargo, ND, where she rose to the title of US Bank Farm Management Operations Manager, in that role she served as an Assistant Vice President in the Farm and Ranch Management division.

In 2013, the light of her life was born, her first grandchild, Margaret Elizabeth (Cutie Pie). Over the last 2 1/2 years, she spent time with her granddaughter and watched her grow. Maggie had her special "Yaya" and she loved Maggie to the moon and back.

In July of 2015, Andrea was diagnosed with cancer. Andrea was a women filled with strength, a very positive outlook on life and she fought the battle well until she succumbed to the illness 10 months later.

Andrea is survived by her husband Joseph Caid of Tucson, two daughters - Melissa (Joe, Maggie) Hochhalter of Menoken, ND and Megan (Corey) Stoner of Fargo, ND. Four brothers Ken (Sharon) Dohrman, Jerry (Susie) Dohrman, Richard (Ellie) Dohrman and Bob (Diane) Dohrman. Many Brother and Sister-in-laws, aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins she cared for and loved dearly, family was her life.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Margaret Dohrman, Father and Mother-in-law, Donald Caid and Charlotte Thorton and brother-in-laws Kenneth Caid and Daniel Caid and nephew, Thomas Chao.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held at the Tucson Botanical Gardens on Saturday May 21st to celebrate her leaving this world as beautiful as she lived it. There will also be a Celebration of Life service in Fargo, ND for family and friends, to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to request a donation to Mayo Clinic of Phoenix to continue the fight against cancer.
